Kayla Moran, PT, DPT, OCS

Westchester - Pleasantville (Athletes Warehouse)

Kayla earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, Kayla was captain of the varsity swim team. Her athletic background and passion for exercise and movement influenced her strong interest in the orthopedic and sports populations.

Kayla had the opportunity to treat a variety of diagnoses and patient populations during her outpatient and inpatient clinical affiliations, with an emphasis in outpatient orthopedics.

While at Columbia, Kayla completed advanced neurological coursework. She dedicated time to community service involvement such as organizing and volunteering at a pro bono clinic in Washington Heights and teaching HIIT classes to cancer patients and survivors. She also performed research in gait asymmetry in individuals with lower limb loss; she and her team members had the opportunity to present their research at the 2020 APTA (American Physical Therapy Association) Combined Sections Meeting.

In her free time, Kayla enjoys running, HIIT classes, baking, and hiking. Originally from Orlando, Florida, she enjoys visiting home and going to the beach with her family and friends.
