Amanda Paquin, PT, DPT

Amanda Paquin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Northeastern University. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University. Prior to attending Sacred Heart University, Amanda worked in research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she developed an interest in oncology. At a young age, Amanda was a competitive dancer and went on to compete nationally and internationally throughout high school. After a career ending injury Amanda spent years in rehabilitation which ultimately led her to pursue a profession in Physical Therapy.

Amanda has extensive clinical experience in sports medicine, orthopedics, post-operative rehabilitation, manual therapy, and return to sport. With her most recent time spent practicing in Lake Placid, NY she had the opportunity to treat a unique population of people ranging from triathletes and hikers to competitive alpine skiers and aerialists.

As a physical therapist, Amanda values providing the highest quality of care through an individualized approach. It is important to Amanda to build a trusting relationship with her patients by providing them with the knowledge guidance and tools they need to achieve their goals.

When not in the clinic, Amanda leads an active lifestyle from attending dance, Pilates and yoga classes, as well as weight training. She enjoys attending sporting events, the ballet and Broadway shows.
