Adolescent's at Spear

For older kids (ages 7–18), Spear therapists create a fun and engaging exercise environment where they can rehab their injuries and return to doing the things they love as quickly and safely as possible. When working with our pediatric and adolescent patients, we place a strong emphasis on each child’s specific goals—whether it’s returning to a sport, participating in school activities, or simply carrying their backpack to school without pain. All of these goals are achievable at Spear.

Our aim is to help children leave stronger than when they arrived, while also teaching them how to prevent future issues and maintain proper fitness. Programs such as our ACL prevention program, Thrower’s program, and concussion care are excellent additions to our pediatric and adolescent services. Our physical therapists’ own experiences as child and student-athletes give them a unique perspective on what is best for each patient.

Among the conditions we treat at Spear:

  • Scoliosis
  • Spondylolysis
  • Pediatric Fractures
  • Sever’s Disease
  • Osgood-Schlatters
