Your first visit

During your first visit, the therapist will review when you began feeling your symptoms, how the injury occurred, your general health, any past surgeries, and your goals. Your therapist will then conduct an initial evaluation to identify any postural faults and musculoskeletal imbalances, including tests for muscle length and strength, joint mobility, and soft tissue integrity.

Following the evaluation, a personalized treatment plan will be developed for your specific needs and goals. Additionally, an at-home exercise program with specific exercises to support the recovery process will be created. Your physical therapist will explain each exercise, ensuring you understand the proper technique.

Telehealth

Telehealth physical and occupational therapy is used to provide treatment virtually rather than in-person. Spear Live, our telehealth therapy, utilizes online audio and video, similar to FaceTime. This approach allows the patient and the therapist to be in separate locations while still conducting a session.
