Physical therapists

Physical therapists are responsible for helping patients meet their unique goals, including establishing transparent expectations for your patients' clinical advancement, ensuring the faithful execution of treatment, and developing personalized at-home exercise programs.

Occupational therapists

Occupational therapists work with their patients to prevent injury or impairment, restore functional activity, and enhance quality of life by establishing clear expectations for patients' clinical advancement, implementing treatments, and providing individualized at-home home exercise programs.

Administrative

Care coordinators are responsible for supporting care by making sure our patients always feel welcomed and valued.

Physical therapist assistant

Therapists are responsible for setting clear expectations, delivering on treatment promises, and providing necessary documents such as Home Exercise Programs. They should uphold high clinical standards and exceptional customer service. Spear values collaboration to create a supportive community for both patients and team members.

Physical therapist technician

Therapy Technicians are responsible for supporting patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Therapy Technicians are expected to execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service. Spear strives to foster a true community environment for both patients and team members; therefore, a collaborative spirit is valued to ensure everyone receives the care and support they need.

Every year, SFLP offers select team members access to this year-long, MBA-style course that turns innovative ideas into reality.

Clinical excellence program

At Spear, we are committed to developing the next generation of therapists. As part of our clinical excellence program, we pair students with instructors in an open-source learning environment. This multi-layer program is constructed to give back to both our community and our clinicians and was awarded the prestigious Columbia Award for Leadership in Clinical Education (twice).
