Raquel earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the US after graduating with a BS in Physical Therapy from Universidad San Jorge in Zaragoza, Spain. She describes herself as empathetic and respectful towards her patients. Raquel likes to establish deep rapport with her patients to enable comfort, deliver the best plan of care and obtain maximum results.
During her time in Spain, Raquel has worked in various multidisciplinary environments, from a soccer team to a nursing home to a clinic treating pediatric patients with aquatic therapy. She had the chance to co-own a clinic, where she was able to treat patients from acute to chronic pain. During her time with this clinic, she has learned the use of kinesiotapping, dry needling and preventing injuries through yoga and pilates class instruction.
Outside of the office, Raquel loves to spend time with her family and friends, go for long walks with her dogs, travel the world and frequent escape rooms. Fun fact: She used to be a professional swimmer.
