Physical Therapist - PT, DPT

Ryan Bisumber, PT, DPT

Financial District - 70 Pine

Ryan received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University, majoring in Biology. He grew up playing baseball since he was 5 years old and eventually found himself joining and playing on different teams for volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and cross-country during his high school years. During his very first season of cross-country Ryan ended up injuring his tibia and knee and going through that healing process led him to have growing interest in Physical Therapy as a career path. His love for sports, and understanding injuries drove him to pursue Physical Therapy

Ryan’s clinical experiences allowed him to work with patients with varying neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular presentations. During his clinical experience at Hackensack Meridian Wellness Center he was able to treat patients with varying presentations using Aquatic Physical Therapy in order to help regain their confidence with pain-free activities of daily living. He was able to work with younger athletes, weekend warriors, and working adults in order to facilitate their return to play and return to work level of function. His last clinical experience was in Spring Hills Post Acute Care where he worked with older adults recovering from various cardiovascular/neurological conditions in fall risk prevention, and transitional care.

In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing recreational volleyball, personal training, and powerlifting. He also loves spending time with friends and family usually through watching movies, painting, playing board games, solving escape rooms, and dancing together.
