Mike is the Regional Director of the Empire Region (lower Manhattan) and has over a decade of experience at Spear while holding positions of Physical Therapist, Clinical Director of 3 of our lower Manhattan clinics, Area Director, and Regional Director. Mike earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2013 while graduating with magna cum laude honors with a minor in Psychology. His clinical experience includes orthopedics, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and sports medicine. Mike is also a certified personal trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has experience working with athletes of all levels. Mike’s clinical interests include manual therapy, blood flow restriction (BFR) training, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), Maitland mobilizations, and progressive strength training.

Mike is also passionate about developing leaders, and helped to create a training and development program for Spear’s new clinic directors. Outside of the clinic, Mike’s interests and hobbies include playing soccer and golf, strength training, running, NFL football, and spending time with his wife Daniella, son Oliver and daughter Michaela. Mike is originally from Long Island, and his interest in sports medicine and focus on helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals has brought him back from Boston to Spear, where he is excited to help his patients improve their function and health.
